How I do it, the simple version.

Here's how I go from this to this

in 2 hours:

Wash hair

Dry hair

Apply mousse

Put in curlers

Sit under soft-bonnet dryer

Let hair cool

Remove curlers

Apply hairspray

Wrap sections around finger and hold in place

Insert bobby pins

Apply hairspray

And - wear rain bonnet when outdoors.
